Soul Out

Deenesh Ghyczy attracts a great deal of attention in almost every part of the world with an innovative approach that is revealed through the fragmentation and integrity of matter. The past Istanbul Biennial Art Suites Gallery 2012 with simultaneous editing we Uwe Goldenstein curated “Technology you can not recover,” titled exhibition, offering the audience the first time in the work of Turkey Deenesh Ghyczy, now meets the audience with a solo exhibition.

Pictorial setting; It is uniquely suitable for creating a state of stillness, stopping and thinking. Deenesh Ghyczy takes us into a world where the habitual principles of thoughts and opinions become meaningless. His figures, some portrayed as floating, others in a purely spiritual state, are beyond the cause and effect relationship in everyday life. The flow of consciousness appears to be channeled and frozen in fragmented repeating motifs and disintegrating figures. The figures that seem to emerge and then sink into themselves blend into their surroundings; however, the simultaneity and repetition of different facial features also serves to portray an unusual time mode. What looks like a prismatic painting is actually a return to the growing awareness of the figure’s invisible inner life. For this reason, Deenesh Ghyczy’s work is no longer considered timeless. Ghyczy, who has the ability to combine the past, the future and the present in his work, but also caught in a kind of time colloid at the same time, discovers the subconscious effects on perception with different processes that occur in different time periods and their interaction with his own intuitions. These human figures, which do not only show a single outer surface, also respect the inward orientation of perception in a mind capable of transcending linear time.

Deenesh Ghyczy “Soul Out” can be seen between 7 June – 15 July at Art Suites Gallery Beyoğlu.
