This time, there are works by four different artists, independent of each other, in Art Suites Gallery. The basic connections of the artists who produce work in different culture, geography, formation, discipline and style are the works they build on human problems.

While Cemal DEMİR expresses the problematic of two separate judgments, which tried to erase the Hrant DİNK massacre, which is the painful event of recent history, and kept alive, BASAKO, Hüseyin IŞIK and Josef DANNER present their works beyond traditional forms and practices. Presenting four artists together with the selection of artist HORASAN, the exhibition can be viewed at the gallery until May 6. “In our rapidly changing age, the desire to perceive the artist with certain codes is actually the product of a conformist understanding. The selectivity of the perception, which is only visual, brought about by the consumption habit, does not care much about the artist’s depth, experimentation and intellectual structure. For this reason, the style is a knife edge issue for the artist. The desire to be perceived in a certain way imprisons the creator and producer in molds.

These four artists, who will present their works for the first time in an intensive show in Istanbul, have taken the production as a basis freely without getting caught up in style. These four artists, who love to feed and produce from graphic foundations in their arts, chose Istanbul as a meeting point and presented their works to the perception in this geography in this exhibition called “Connection”. ”
